One parent on son birth certificate

Good Morning All,

My Husband is sponsor me and our son to the Usa and im from canada and our case is finally completed so we want to get paper work ready for our interview and we are stuck at this one problem. our Son birth certificate only has my name on his birth certificate . My husband is also the real father. we just never put his name on our son birth certificate. Our son was born before we got marry. What do you guys think we should do ?

It could be a problem, but at worst, there will be a delay while you do DNA testing.

Was the child born in Canada? In some countries, it is normal not to have the father on there unless married, in some countries, that is unusual.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

yes, my son is born in canada. i even have photo on my husband being there for the birth of our son.. i was thinking can i just order a new birth certifcate and just add my husband on there since we are marry now
