Please be more precise. You are talking about NOA1 or NOA2.

NOA1 is merely a document indicating that they received your I-129F petition, and it will indicate your receipt number.

. NOA2 is the one to keep an eye out for, it is the visa petition approval notice. You will need a copy of that notice later on in the process.

Which one are you missing?

Call and make sure they have your address correctly in the system. Ask if they can resend the I-485 receipt. Also, make sure your name is on the mailbox. You can contact your local post office to ask about why mail addressed to you correctly would be returned.

??? OP stated I-485 and mention of biometrics in their post.

Hey pitaya.

Iam talking about notice of action form I-797 for AOS, AP and EAD.I filled them up all at a time on 09/06/2016 .I received e-notification of applications with three file numbers and have been waiting to get this notice by post.In the mean time I received a letter from uscis local office for biometric fingers prints but still didn't get the notice of action form. Unfortunately I have a notice stating that the post office could not be able to deliver my letter and return to uscis. But I know I gave them the correct name and address and my full name is written on my mail box.

Agree with KayDeeCee.

Thanks Kay, missed that and the incorrect forum posting only compounded my apparent confusion. :bonk:

Haha, yes, sometimes I know I am in need of more coffee(or sleep), when answering questions and doing a double take on the mess I just typed. :P
