If you have never been issued a SSN before (from past visa e.g. J1 visa, F1 student visa, working visa.. etc), then you will need a SSN when you arrive in US.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Yes..

but, automatically receiving ssn is a hit or miss fyi. Follow up at SS office if no card 2 weeks after poe.
