Two MNL numbers?

Hello fellow VJ peeps, when I look at the CEAC website I have two MNL numbers, they start with 2016 like all for this year and they are exactly the same numbers, but the top one is 01 and the bottom is 02. Anyone with the same situation?

Do you have a K2? If so, that's the reason. Two visas = two case numbers.

An on the part of NVC, don't worry on it. When you get to the interview you can mention to the CO that there isn't a K-2 and if he needs to "fix it" he can do so then, but don't worry about it.

thanks too much guys. We do not have a letter from the NVC for our MNL # , been over ten days. So I emailed her the page from NVC with our numbers, she was able to pass her medical by telling them the number, but she was harassed at every turn and all the " other" girls had there letter from the NVC, I have been getting, how shall we say it... Intense inquiry from my better half about how to get said letter, Ummm I can not make it happen, so I feel the screen shot should suffice as those numbers go with ours and ours alone case file.

You aren't required to have the NVC letter for the medical. The requirement is a copy of the interview confirmation email/page or NVC letter .. one or the other.

St. Lukes only needs a reference for MNL number. the screen shot of the status with MNL number should suffice. Some people are just so boxed-in!

As for the 2 MNL number, the -02 is for a K2. Did you put any child name on your form I-129F? If you did that is for your K2, you mentioned "no kiddo coming". They will not know that, if you did put the child's name on the form, they will issue a case number for the K2. Of do not have a child's name on the I-129F form, that is a mistake form USCIS and should not affect your process. Your MNL number is as.

Thanks Chrisitina 16, yes we put her sons name who is 20 and is in college and not planning on coming to school, her interview is tuesday I am both excited and scared, you can never feel confident until you see visa issued, Thanks to all my fellow V J ers

Then that's the reason for two case number's. She is 01 and he is 02. If he doesn't enter the USA by his 21st birthday then it will be YEARS before he an get a visa. This is the time to being him if ever you will. Just my experience.

Hi! the -02 is for him. There maybe other factors why he is not coming this time I respect that but at his age this is the best time to go if ever you guys plan to bring him over in the future.

He should apply his K2 now and come over, get his greencard and go back to finish his degree . This is what we are doing for my daughter, she turned 20 last March, as soon as she get her greencard she is going back to Manila to finish 43 units and get her professional license.

Just know that if you guys will not process his k2 now, by the time his mom can petition him he will be over 21 and processing for F2B or F2A when his mom becomes a citizen can be 10-15years or longer waiting time. There's nothing you can do, only his Mom can petition him since you got married when he is over 18; you cannot petition him.

Just know that it is critical for him to get the visa now. He can still do follow to join within one year but make sure he is 21 and under when he enter US.
