passport copy for n400!?

Hello all great VJ members.

am i need to send a copy of my passport while applying for N400?

if not required is it recommended to send it ?

i did all papers using this website start from i130 to citizenship forms.. thank you guys for everything..

No because you don't have a U.S. passport. You send the front and back photocopy of your greencard. If you are married and applying as married over 3 years, then you send passport of your spouse. Hope this makes sense but I'm sure more people with more experience than me will chime in.

As Frostiana stated, send a copy of your GC (front and back) AND the birth certificate and/or passport of the USC spouse if filing under the three year married to USC rule. Good luck.

Permanent Green Card Arrived 4/14/16
Naturalization Interview 2/22/17 APPROVED!

Oath Ceremony 3/21/17--Joan is a US Citizen!

Dual Citizenship 7/7/22 Joan is now a Dual US/Filipino Citizen!

Passport copy not needed at the application, but they will ask you to bring it (even if it's expired) to the interview.
