Hello all VJ members,

I am in NVC process now and i have an important question in form DS-260, The question is: Have you ever been refused a US visa , been refused addmission to the United States or withdrawn your application for admission at the post of entry ?

(I have applied for a Tourist VISA 2 months before my marriage and my application to CR-1 visa, and the application to my tourist visa has been denied in the interview. So what i should answer the above question in DS-260 form ? YES or NO, and Would application and refusal of Tourist visa before would affect bad on my CR-1 VISA application ?)

So you were refused a US tourist visa you applied for 2 months before marriage and you're asking if you should say "Yes, I was refused a US tourist visa"?

+100 yes say 'yes i was refused'

will if affect a future application.. not unless you lied. so no, it is common to get denied a tourist visa and then get a K1 or CR1. but if you lied on any applicaiton then any future application would get denied.

In the question it's not mentioned is it a tourist visa or not ? and of course i don't need to lie or hide because it's on the system, i was just making sure if tourist visa interview refusal count. also i was asking if it will affect my CR-1 visa application or not ?

I don't have any intention to lie at all, i was just checking if it's going to affect my cr-1 case or not.

Were you denied a visa? YES no other answer.

Will it effect your cr1 no one can tell. It depends on CO.

At my interview one guy was denied a tourist visa three times and he had traveled on one years before that was approved. His k1 was approved.
