Hi all!

I had my interview September 8th and was told by the lady I must call ACRO and gain information of the 'no live trace' on my certificate. It was a stupid minor offence where I broke a door at home at the age of 14 and my mum called the police to teach me a lesson. I was given a reprimand so never went to court or fined etc.

So the second I left the embassy, I called ACRO to get this information and gave them permission to talk with the embassy about the report, then emailed the embassy to relay this information so they could contact ACRO themselves to confirm the details were correct.

So my question is this. My case was in 'administrative processing' on September 8th, and today it's saying from September 12th. Does this mean they have possibly spoken to ACRO and are on there was with processing the visa? I have been looking on dozens of forums at what AP means and I've found it can take up to 22 weeks! But my belief of this is that only happens when documents are missing or foreign nationals etc.

I've also seen (in 2013) that the embassy have requested a 'subject access report' in cases such as this but I wasn't asked for one. Have they changed the system where the applicant must call them like I did or should I still expect the subject access form request?

Can anyone in similar situations provide me with any information they have?

The date change would mean something is happening and it's not just sitting there forgotten about. Hopefully moving on because they cleared you with ACRO. It could also mean they read your email.

Every case in London gets an AP status for a brief period before it changes to Issued. It does not mean it's in the long Administrative Processing which can take months.
