Hello,

my wife just got her CR1 visa, do we need to apply to remove the conditional residence right away or do we have to wait?

Thank you,

You wait until at least 90 days before her 2 year anniversary of being an LPR (aka entry into the USA.)

That's great so we still have time. Thank you for your prompt response NikLR. I still have one more question:

Do we start counting from the time we receive the green card or from the date on the visa stamped on her passport?

You'll see a 'Resident Since: ' date on your green card, and that's going to be your anniversary date.

date of entry on her passport. It should match up with resident since on the green card but sometimes it doesnt.

ok, what happen if it doesn't match, which correct date should I follow?

The entry date. The only reason the dates don't generally match is when you have to have the green card corrected due to an issue like her name or birthdate being wrong.
