Hello

My fiance (US) and I (Bahrain) have applied for the fiancee visa sometimes in April and it all went well until it reached the Bahraini Ministry of Interiors, where they wouldn't issue a Good Conduct Certificate without my father's consent because the Visa purpose is to get married. Now in Sharia Law, I can't get married without the consent of my father. and the US embassy won't normally issue a Fiance visa without the Good Conduct Certificate.

I am a Bahraini citizen, 25 years old. Is there a way where the US embassy would issue a visa if the culture/religion isn't in the applicant's favour? Thanks a million

I don't know, but you could get married in a third country and go for a spousal visa.

AOS for my husband

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
