My hubby petition my Mom to come join us here in the US.Now she got an interview schedule in Manila this Sept. 8..My question is do I still have to pay for her Visa? I'm confused coz others said it's being paid already,others said I have to pay for it yet..Please help... Where can I pay and how much it is? Thank you.

I know i have to pay $165 for her greencard after the interview.

You must have petitioned for your mother, your husband can't.

If she has her interview soon, the fees must have been paid already. They don't schedule an interview for an immigrant visa until NVC has received the fee payments.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!
