Hi every one thought I would share what the AP entry was like while my parents AOS is pending.

They arrived at SFO around 7pm, they went to the visitors line in customs. When it was their turn they were asked for their passports and AP card, then fingerprinted and escorted by an immigration officer to a separate room. they sat there for about 45 minutes. The immigration officer came back with the documents and said have a nice day. No questions were asked at any time. One note for future SFO travelers, They were escorted to the domestic side of the airport and never came out of the international terminal gate they were supposed to.

Ok hope this helps someone,

Harry

Noted. Thank you for this! I am also going to try and get an expedited AP, got an infopass for monday 8am. If ever i will be approved to travel with AP i will come back here in SFO so this is very helpful.

But do you know if it's okay that i go the same line with my Husband (USC) on the US citizen line? does it still matter where you line up since you don't actually have a particular status?

I remember when i came here as k1 visa holder, he was allowed to accompany me at the US immigrant line and even at the IO booth.

Thank you!

Adjusting from B1/B2 Visa:

07/01/2015 - Arrived at San Francisco (b1/b2)

10/28/2015 - Ended our 9 years of dating and got hitched.

Our Never ending Visa/Immigration Journey begins:

06/06/2016 - AOS package sent to Chicago Lockbox via FEDEX

06/18/2016 - NOA 1 (receipt)

07/15/2016 - Biometrics

07/25/2016 - RFE (for I-864 joint sponsor)

09/07/2016 - Responded to RFIE

09/09/2016 - USCIS will received our Docs (as per USPS, no update yet)

09/12/2016 - Infopass for 8am to Request for Expedited I-131 (Request APPROVED base on USCIS website)

Hi Emily,I think it depends on the IO whether they let you go together. If they dont let you go together, dont be alarmed. Its not uncommon for IO's to want to "interview" people alone.Even if they dont ask any questions. If you feel like you want to be with your husband in the line I would probably just go in the visitor line with your husband..I look at it like, its better for them to be annoyed with a USC in the wrong line, than an Immigrant in the USC line. But that's just me guessing.Just for reference, your husband being with you doesnt make it any more, or less likely to admit you.

You will be fine, dont stress about it, being denied at an entry point is super, super rare if you have AP and only happens if a crime was committed since you submitted AOS or something similar to that.
