Hi,

My fiancé and I were wondering about how to present, appearance-wise at the Montreal interview? Is a tidier haircut a good idea and formal attire? Of course not looking scruffy is a fairly obvious plus, but are things like a clean-cut haircut a good idea?

it really does not matter , my wife just had her interview , she was the only one who was formally dressed plus they only get to see you through a window

I wore nice jeans, nice tshirt, and a well fitted hoodie (not baggy.) I did my make up and hair. I wouldn't dress any more formal than business casual and nice jeans are certainly acceptable. You do see a few in suits and ties but it's not common.

I honestly looked like TRASH at my interview LOL. I wore leggings, a somewhat nice shirt, no make up, and my hair was washed but pretty messy.

there was a girl there in shorts and a flip flop. I mean, dress up if you want, but it doesn't seem to matter to them either way.

There are two spots. One has glass and its where you give your docs and get your fingerprints done. I dont think the other window has glass but there is a person on a computer who interviews you and has your file. Edited by NLR
