I-130 and B/2 Tourist visa help

Now that I've become a us citizen :) I am going to file for my parents. They are from Colombia and currently have tourist visa that were just renewed last year. They have been visa holders since 92. They have never overstayed their visa. But now as they are getting older and all of the other immediate family has immigrated here I made the decision to try and ask for them.

So my question is:will there be any issue filing I-130 if they are current visa holders! Would they still be able to travel to the USA while awaiting their case to be process. ( they are suppose to come for Christmas). Would this be considered fraud if they are traveling on their tourist visa but have filed I-130 so that they can immigrate. My father is very worried their visa would get taken away. Also I'm not even sure how to start this journey. Should I seek an lawyer or would this able someone I could do on my on.

Please help vj family

My mum petitioned for me in 2007 and I has a valid visitors visa and was able to visit the US until my immigrant visa approval in 2015 without any issues. The most they used to ask me at Poe was who petitioned for me and when last was I in the US on my visits.

My petition was done without a lawyer. So was my mum and I am now doing my husband. Also vj is a diy site.

Bigger issue I see is age. What will they do for Medical etc cots.

How old are they?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
