Medical expiration K1

Hey all.

Got my medical done a week ago. Have my interview next month. I'm on here to ask how much time I should leave on my medical before my POE?

If I go over in December with 2 months validity on my medical and we marry immediately will I be okay to file for AOS?

good question.

Take a look at this excellent pinned thread in the Fam.-based AOS Forum, from a former fellow subject of the Court of Saint James: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/551080-immunizations-ds-3025-or-i-693/

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Your visa is good for 6 months from the medical. Once you enter the US on your valid visa, your medical date does not dictate whether or when you apply for AOS. If the medical is less than a year old (when you apply for AOS) and you had no Class A conditions, then it is supposed to serve as your AOS medical as well.
