Hi All,

I have international travel this November, with my conditional GC expiring by December end. I will be applying for renewal in Oct. but doubt I will get temp work/travel permit in a month.

I am assuming there wont be any issues or I can show renewal notice at US PoE and justify, but not sure if other countries will have any reservations allowing me to board flight with only one month left on GC card.

Oct 11, 2016 - ROC package mailed via USPS priority (large bubble wrap envelope)

Oct 13, 2016 - Package delivered to CSC

Oct 17, 2016 - Check cashed

Dec 1, 2016 - Biometrics completed (early walk-in)

you have to sumbit your application 90 days before it expires and then USCIS will send you a letterm with that letter and your greencard you will be able to return to the US. Why would other countries care if you have a GC? they can't verify your GC information, if you have an Indian passport chances are that you need a visa to go to these other countries.

You assumed wrong.. Are you intentionally waiting till it expires? As you might be aware none of this process takes less than 30 days. So long as your GC is valid you are good but in case of anything causing a delay, you will regret procrastinating.
