possible ir2 questons asked in interview

Timeline

They probably won't ask you many questions, assuming he married your mom before your 18th birthday and you have no previous overstays or criminal history etc. Some questions that may come up:

- How did your mom meet your stepdad, when did they get married, when did she move to the USA?

- Why didn't he petition you with your mom, why now?

- Where in the USA will you live (both in term of city/ state and will you live with mom and step dad)?

- Have you met your step dad in person? If yes, when and where? If no, why not, have you talked to him over Skype etc.

- What do you plan on doing in the USA (study/ job etc)?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
