ok lol ... confusion somewhere ... there was a comment earlier about hong kong police cert .. not mine , i already got it .

My confusion was your post saying "can you print....etc for police cert..." I thought that was a new question from you because you didn't quote the person you were replying to, the Hong Kong person. So My answer was to you that you don't need anything from London for your UK police cert. I understand now.

ACPO WAS the old name that was the website organization where you got police certificate and somehow the criminal records division ACRO tied into that.

The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO), officially The Association of Chief Police Officers of England, Wales and Northern Ireland

Sorry about that.

I have submitted DS 160 because I have the NVC case number (haven't received anything in the post yet) and plan to book my medical on Monday? My American fiance is sending me all the bits for interview... So I'm up to speed. How long is medical valid for?

6 months

Your visa will expire six months from medical date, not six months from interview or issue date.

Oh also for AOS, your medical is good as long as you submit AOS within 12 months of visa medical and you have no Class A conditions.

I phoned to book my medical today and was told they need something either written or in email with my NVC case number on it. Any thoughts?

Neither me or my fiancé have anything of that nature...

You will get a letter from the embassy. Your fiancé will get a letter from NVC. And you can check your status on CEAC and I think it has your number you might can print. With that said, other people have gone to Knightsbridge with nothing and still had their medical exam.

My fiance booked his for Monday but CEAC still says "at NVC"... I put in an inquiry at the NVC in order to receive an email with our case number. Do you think that will be okay for him to bring?
