  • Tax Return: 1040 and W2 forms for 2015., From petitioner and any co- sponsors for tax year 2015. If the petitioner did not file a tax return, they must provide a letter explaining why.

i have no one to co sponsor me. and i did not work for last 3 years. but i have around 100k saving and house . i started working since jan 2016 with income of 3000 a month. is that work ???? or im screwed ??? my interview is in 10 days from today

does anyone have explain letter simple???

If I am correct, you mean your fiance's interview in 10 days?? You are the petitioner, right?

1-Ok you will need to submit a letter explaining why you have not filed income tax in three years

2- If you have been working since January 2016 making $3000 you need to submit pay stubs, copies of your bank account statement

3- You said you have $100 k in savings...There is a formula to be used if that amount alone is enough to be your own sponsor. I believe this amount is more than enough depending of how many your are sponsoring beside your wife...maybe someone can break it down for you.

Are you the petitioner? ummmmmmm you said you don't work then you go on to say that you started a new job in January. Am I missing something? A job is a job and income is income. why wouldn't the income from the new job count?
