Hi all, i've been following and reading topics in the site and most of them answered to my tons of questions. Thanks!

My fiancé the (USC) is peparing the documents for the I-129F now,and there is something i'd like to understand. How close to the interview, the dates on the documents he will send me later should be, after our case been forwaded to the embassy in my country? Because he has a friend that will be travelling from the US to my country in the next two months, so we are wondering if he can send me those docs via him, to avoid paying dhl later... :P :P :P.

Any suggestions? Any advice? Thank youu!! :D

make sure he brings the 2015 tax returns (an offical IRS transcript he can pick up at any IRS office)

and yes, we have freinds who travel and we help each other do the same thing

anyone going or coming is loaded down to help a friend

your interview will more than likely be next year as it is already far into 2016

You can have his friend bring it with him so you can have it before the interview.

Yes, but we are planning to file it this week, so my interview could approximately be around December on January.. :-(. Is it wise to have the documents (letter of intent, Affidavit of support, employment letter....) in the next two months?

He can send the last 3 years of his taxes with you, proof of the relationship, the affidavit of support and employment letter has to wait. Everything else can be sent in now. Even the letter of intent can have a date of 9.1.2016 his friend will be coming in a few months.
