Now i'm in the Netherlands, and my fiance lives in America, so he is the one petioning since i'm moving there. But do i have send it to him or can he print it out? cause i dont want to wait another month until he got that picture. Thanks for reading anyway :).

Welcome.

He can use the tool on the Departmrnt of State website to make a copy of a digital image of you that meets the size requirements and then print that image out.

Just use E-Passport-Photo. It's free. You upload your own digital photo (based on the travel.state.gov requirement), size it, and in return you get a 4x6-sized jpeg file containing four passport-sized photos.

Send this passport photo file to your fiance where he can take to CVS/Walgreens/target ... etc to print for twenty cents.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

The passport photo is the one you submit with your biographical info. I thought they wanted to see an original one submitted, just like the paperwork has to be originally (wet) signed by petitioner and beneficiary. I guess what they're saying is good too then! Good luck, fellow Dutchie :)

I mean, I sent "accidentally" the European sized passport photos (35x34mm) but the American ones are bigger (5cmx5cm). Just make sure you have US passport sized photo's for you K1 interview at the Consulate.
