medical + interview checklist [Montreal]

Timeline

Hi guys

My wife will be leaving for Montreal for her medical and interview

Just wanted to make sure I have everything

- Interview letter p4 (one for medical, one for interview)

- Beneficiary’s passport and copy

- Birth certificate and 2 copies

- Police clearance certificates (India and Canada - wife is an Indian but studying in Canada on a student visa)

- Beneficiary’s Canada student visa and 2 copies

- I864 original (since we sent the copy via email at nvc)

- 10 US passport pictures (5 for medical, 5 for interview)

- Copy of ds-260 confirmation page

- Copy of AOS fees, IV fee

- Copy of petitioner‘s offer letter

- Copy of petitioner‘s pay check (6 weeks)

- petitioner‘s lease copy (domicile)

- Petitioner’s 3 year tax transcripts + 2015 w2 and 1040 (original) + copies

- petitioner‘s US passport copy

- petitioner‘s bank letter stating beneficiary is added as an authorized user for his credit card

- petitioner‘s phone bill showing two lines

- Whats App chat, flight ticket copies, 35 random pictures, money transfer receipts,

i am more nervous than my wife :) lol

USCIS:

FedEx overnight I-130: December 17, 2015
NOA1 hard copy received: January 1, 2016

NOA2 hard copy received: April 24, 2016

Choice of Agent (DS-261): May 4, 2016

AOS Fee paid: May 4, 2016

IV Fee Paid: May 6, 2016

DS-260 Completed: May 14 , 2016

Case Complete : June 8,2016

EMBASSY:

Medical Completed : July 22, 2016 review link

Interview : July 28, 2016 APPROVED !!!! review link

Visa issued : July 29, 2016

Visa in hand : August 3, 2016

POE : August 4, 2016 Montreal, Canada

224 days start to finish :dancing:

SSC in hand : August 15 , 2016

Green card : January 14th , 2017

What do you mean your offer letter?

You do not need the tax returns if you have the tax return transcripts.

Its good to take relationship evidence but it's likely not to be looked at. :)

i recently joined a new firm ( in may )

so have few paychecks from this company

just as a proof she will show the offer letter from the company which states my yearly income

once my case was approved and it was showing in CEAC website as ready

i got a call from NVC , the lady asked me to bring tax transcripts + 2015 w2

That's weird.

Makes more sense about the offer letter though.

Your list otherwise looks great. I don't remember needing any more than 2 photos for the interview, but better safe than sorry I guess. ;)
