I see exactly how it functions. These people are in and out of the system and never stop until they are permanently locked up or dead. He's stopped. Good riddance.

They're just part of the long list of victims he has left behind

Like I said earlier the truth comes out. A long history of abuse and violence toward others. He was a true Super Predator, to borrow a term from the Clintons.

The headline and Thesis statement was just another ploy by the race baiters and poverty pimps to keep the hobbled, hobbled

i have absolutely no desire to play yall's game of justify the murder.

did either of you think for one second that this exact response isn't expected of you? i'll just keep in mind that both of you are of the belief that police are entitled to take the execution of 'justice' into their own hands at moments of extreme stress and confusion..and not to mention a person's record is totally on the table when interacting with the public. i would suggest you listen to the sound of alton's son sobbing for his father, to try and convince you that these are real people affected by cops with too much power. but i see you consider alton below yourselves on the human scale, and probably figure cops would never dismiss you or someone you love. doubtful you'd find even a smidgen of compassion for this 'super predator's" children as you probably both would rather consider them 'adults' and they had it coming to. just, gross.

I actually do not feel bad when children are kept apart from grown men who sexually molest 14-yr-olds

Never actually seen you howl for the rights of white child molesters so I guess you only think that's OK but only if they are black children.

so stop guessing, you're completely terrible at it.

Those children deserve as much protection from this predator as the rest of the community does. Unfortunately a person arrested and charged last month with ecstasy and marijuana possession with a record of molesting children obviously is not someone who children should ever have been around.

It is a police officer's job to protect the community and that person (who carries ecstasy and marijuana around but "sells CD's" at midnight in front of a convenience store sure) happened to be engaged in criminal activity (activity that he had already been charged and convicted of but was right back on the street still doing it) and also carrying an illegal gun that he waved at someone so the officers did just that.

Had he not had a gun and been playing with his gun no call would have been made and the incident would have never happened. Responsibility for all of this including impact on the children rests squarely on the shoulders of a man who has spent a lifetime intimidating people, stealing from them, battering them, and using and carrying guns around them so save your outrage for the one who was in the wrong.

I don't see you grossed out over a 14-yr-old "baby mama" but I'm sure you would be if she didn't have black skin.

so stop guessing, you're completely terrible at it.

Hey you can speak up about it anytime you want to. Go ahead and cry some more over children not being around someone convicted of child molestation AND domestic battery as if that is such a terrible thing to prevent.

wow, what a waste of typing dude. you're not addressing your erroneous belief that cops are lawfully executioners of criminal justice. sit back down.

thanks for permission, please expand upon your theories of necessity for two systems of criminal justice in america, one for those with no prior criminal history and those with priors. should there be four total, i mean should white folks with priors get justice with the same swiftness as 'super predators' with priors? should cops just shoot them in advance for breathing? you're a plethora of draconian dreams for some sort of brave new racist purge lead by police. wonder why you're not police chief somewhere ghetto-y.

Wow what a waste of typing Val. You're not addressing your erroneous belief that someone can stick a gun in their pocket and go out and commit crimes whenever they want to without consequences.

At first glance, it appears to be execution by cop. That was my first reaction; my second was the those cops should be tried for murder.

Then I considered all that has been brought to light about Alton. A well-known, life-long criminal with a record. Said record most likely known by the local police who were called to the scene. Most likely warned by the dispatcher on their way to the scene. Knowing he had a gun, they used force to take him down.

What cannot be seen from the videos, but may come out in the investigation, is if Alton was struggling to get up, get the cops off him cuz they were heavy, or if perhaps he was struggling so hard to get his gun out and aimed at the cops. That will surely be a game changer, and will definitely change how I at first viewed this event.

you're still not addressing the actual law, or the actual events that occurred.

LOL white people who wave guns get shot all the time. The difference is other white people don't get together, form mobs, and loot and riot over it. Because, like this guy, they usually have it coming. Give it a rest val. This is a really bad flag to rally around.

The officers were holding down a guy who they were telling to be still and he was mouthing off at them and he was still moving. They saw he had a gun and he got shot. They were already told he had waved his gun at somebody and had no reason to believe he wouldn't use it if he could. He outweighed both of them combined.

No gun = no call. No call=no officers. No officers = this guy would still be alive. I bet the local community doesn't learn a single lesson from this.

nope, won't happen till the problem of police killing people is gone. you clearly do not know me. i've been on about police brutality and america's criminal justice system since 1991. i was 13, so good luck convincing me this isn't a 'good' flag to rally around. idc.

see, what you're doing here is still just attempting to justify cops executing a man. fail.

yeah but apparently it's still ok because the cops must have known he had a record and are thereby lawfully permitted to execute on site. 'murica 2016. giggity.
