Hi Everyone,

When filling out the DS-260 form there's a point where it says:

"Do you have an address in the US where you intend to live?"

What if the answer to this is no? Would it go against us for saying that. Or would it be worth putting in my wife's family home, just so we can put an address in?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

W

How can it be No. You are going to live somewhere. You have to put a US address where your mail, green card, SSN card will be mailed to.

Petitioner has to have domicile somewhere even if you have just a mailbox address (like UPS store mailbox).

With few exceptions, as sponsor you must have your principal domicile in the US. If you don't intend to do so, why would you answer otherwise? Am I misunderstanding the question? You should put the address where you believe you will live. If that changes, there is a process for reporting the new address.
