My spouse interview is scheduled August 25th in Dakar but I just got put on assignment( military) to go to Korea in December 2016. I was just wondering can I contact the embassy if they can move the interview date to end of July or beginning of August?

Do you know how long does it take to get the visa after the interview? Do you get it right there on the spot or there's a wait time?

My wife attended her CR1 interview on 25 August 2016 in Dakar, Senegal, but she didn't get approved. The CO said that she can't issued a visa. The Co didn't give any documents to my wife saying why or what they're not issuing a visa and they didn't take her passport either. The CO told my wife that they will contact me the petitioner. So I don't know what to do. I sent them multiple emails but no answer. I called NVC and NVC told me that the consular was looking for my number which shocked.

I need help.

Yes I got good news by the grace of god after a week of stress. First I sent them couple emails and I used to call NVC every two days.

On the 7th they emailed me telling me that they will send the case back to uscis because they tried to contact me but they couldn't so after reading the email, I emailed them back letting them know that how could they send my case back without talking to me because I call and email them several times with my contact information but I didn't get no response. So I emailed them my next assignment orders ( because am in US Army) which explains that am leaving the country in December. After sending that email, they call me the next day on the 8th. They asked me couple questions and told to tell my wife to bring her passport in on Wednesday the 14th at 9:00 am.

Hoping that they issue her a visa cuz I can't wait to see my wife.

I'm glad that you finally got an answer and hope things keep moving for you. How long can I expect to get my interview after case complete?

My case was approved on 11 May 2016

Received P4 letter on 20 July 2016

Interview on 25 August 2016.

They are supposed to start scheduling this week. Has anyone heard anything yet?
