Let's say I send in my i129f near it's expiration date and they revieve it after it's expiration date, would this be a problem? Should I just wait till after the 30th to avoid problems?

That expiration date is for the use of the Fed Government Forms administration, OMB, and their internal document control. Be sure to go the the USCIS website and use the most currently available form.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

no, that is why you much use the most current form available from USCIS.

The OMB(Office of Management and Budget) expiration date only matters internally for the USCIS. That expiration date has nothing to do with whether or not it will be acceptable for you to use. The edition date(found on the lower left of the form pages) is what matters. The accepted edition dates for the forms are listed on the site where the forms can be found and downloaded.

The I-129F states this. > https://www.uscis.gov/i-129f

Edition Date

06/13/13. No previous editions accepted.

  • 1 month later...

So, now we are closer to the end of July (7/26th) and their website still has that form expiring at the end of June (last month). Is that form OK to send since it is the one they have uploaded on their website (even though it is past their expiration date)? Or should I call them? I gather from your answer that it does not matter and that I can send it anyways even 1 month after the "expiration date". I just want to make sure.
