I submitted my wifes I-130 on January 25th 2016 and it was routed to the Nebraska Service Center.

I just received a RFE asking me for the Urdu Language Nika Nama (Marriage Certificate). It also asks me the following statement below which I don't quite understand. I have the marriage certificate both Urdu and English notarized / Attested.

I got confirmation that they received my documents. How long does it usually take to review? And should I be worried about possible denial?

Attest means proof that is not a forgery

When it comes to legal documents

What did you submit in the beginning? Just the nadra certificate? I hope this time you have sent all three because it makes sense for them to see the Nikah Nama and complete translation. I believe they have people who verify this in Pakistan and therefore require it at this stage.

Initially I only submitted the nadra marriage certificate. When I received the RFE then I submitted the original Urdu with the English attested translation.

However just got my approval today. Thank you very much for your replies!! :)

I honestly think it may not matter bc the document does say True Translation on top.

Another thing you can do is probably have someone in Pakistan attest it ASAP and re-send the Document with the RFE letter if you received one. If not I would just wait until you receive RFE it usually takes about 10 days after that to approve.
