Great post!! +1000000

Why do plants have to die so humans and wear clothes and smoke them?

Let's all go around naked and eat nothing!

Lets compare wearing clothes, eating, or smoking things that can help you, all things that are needed and necessary, to the senseless killing of a rare animal just because we think our species is all mighty and so much more important than every other specie, so much so that even the biggest morons deserve to live more than the most precious animals. And in this I am not referring just to the boy as it was not his fault that the parents are imbeciles, but also stuff such as the other post with the lions(which were adults).

Go take some happy pills! I love mankind!!!

Nah I'd rather remain in reality, but thanks :D

Well it's not the cows fault I ate a juicy burger tonight , but if I got to choose to eat or if a cow dies. The cow dies every time. Sorry but the kids life wins over the gorilla everytime.

As to your points on child raising. I 100 agree

So does the naitch eat gorillas now? :)

Super simple topic but not surprised it's become a national fetish to talk about this.

Simply, zoo keepers love animals more than most people and want to keep them safe. Next, they used their expertise to think killing it was the right thing. It's that simple.

Yup it really is. Sometimes it's hard to see from the ditch

All fine and well, but that still doesn't make their decision necessarily right, or at the very least doesn't mean everyone has to agree with it or think it was. They had other considerations too, besides, the animal, like, are they going to get sued if something happens to the kid? How about their name and reputation? Turning this into a simple situation is basically like saying whatever any "expert" in any field thinks or says or does is the right way to go and the only way to go and we all know life just doesn't work that way, It is my personal belief they made the wrong call.

Yup it really is. Sometimes it's hard to see from the ditch

Save your ditch comments to those in the ditch as you know I'm not one of them, soooo...

Being in the middle of the road is fun. You agree(and disagree) with both sides depending on the issue, and drive them both mad. Anyways one thing we can both agree on here is that certain parents these days do not deserve to reproduce,
