Passport Style Photos

Wifey had visa photos made a few days ago and put them in the mail to me. She's worried that they will not be acceptable. She is wearing small stud-type earrings. Tasteful, and hardly noticeable. I don't see in the requirements anything that says she cannot wear earrings.

Just curious.....to put her at ease.....problem or not?

have her take electronic ones and email them to you and you can go have them printed.

and I doubt earrings will be a problem.

They are trained to take passport pictures why didnt they tell her???

Have her retake them or take your chance with those as long as there not chandelir earrings i dont think uscis is as strict as the passport agency...

But you never know...for piece of mind I would retake...or wait and see if they send an RFE...

I wore huge "loop" earrings in my photos. No problem.

I wore little stud (ball) earrings. No problems here.

They just wanted to make sure my hair was completely off my face, so I tucked it behind my ears.....making my earrings really stand out.

I don't think that's a problem. As long as her ears are not covered by her hair in the pic.
