No Vaccination Records

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this question has been answered before. We are currently waiting for our interview to be scheduled and I am a little worried about the medical check up. My wife and step children do not have any vaccination records (though they have received vaccinations), will this create problems or significant delays? Or is this a problem we can solve at the medical exam? My concern is they will say we can start any missing vaccinations but will have to complete a series of shots that takes months. Our embassy is in Jakarta, Indonesia. Thanks for the help

All of this can be taken care of at the medical exam. You will have to get all the shots that you can't prove that you already have taken.

If you have a family Doctor, they should be able to perform a blood test, to see if you have the antibodies in your blood.

If you do have specific antibodies, then chances are you either had the disease, or have been vaccinated against it.

Either way, unless a booster is required, you wouldn't need shots at your medical.

At least this is how it was for me.

They can take a blood test showing immunity of re-take the required vaccinations.
