My fiancé resides in the Philippines. On May 4, 2016, the National Visa Center received the approved I-129F petition from USCIS, and has forwarded my petition to the US Embassy in Manila. The letter states that the US Embassy in Manila will contact my fiancé when ready to process her petition. BIG PROBLEM---Her phone was recently stolen, and she has changed her address in the Philippines. How can I notify the US Embassy of her new contact information? I am about to complete the DS-160 and I can indicate her current address and Phone number within that document. Is this sufficient to notify the Embassy of her new contact information? Should I do something in addition to the DS-160 to notify Embassy of new contact information? Thank you in advance for your response and suggestions.

First of all, when you fill out the DS-160 online you should have the correct new address and phone number filled out. Does this guarantee that embassy will send the information to this new address, I don't think so.

So what you should do is call the embassy with your case number or email them and be sure they make the changes prior to sending you packet 3. I would do it before or right away after you submit your DS-160.

First, call the US Embassy with your USCIS record number and inform them of your case. Then ask your fiance to contact the US Embassy in Manila (make sure she has a copy of NVC letter and NOA2 letter). The US Embassy in Manila are highly capable of addressing this issue rather than going thru USCIS here in the US.

Relax! ;) Everything is fine, for now NOTHING of importance is sent to your fiancee. Current address on the DS-160 is good, but the most important place to have the correct address and email address is on her profile

https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/

This the the important place for current contact info: When your fiancee completes her profile for scheduling the interview make sure the current address is there - that is where the visa package will be delivered to, UNLESS you choose to pick it up at a 2GO location.

Now with that said. DO NOT wait for anything from the embassy to start your visa application. Once you have your MNL# it is ROCK n ROLL time!!
