Did any of you received the card already?

I am in a similar situation. I was a F-1 holder before marrying my husband. I work in the same company for about 2.5 years (started as intern, then used my CPT, OPT pre-completion and finally OPT post - completion). I filled my AOS on April 4th, so theoretically my EAD should be approved any time this next couple of weeks. My OPT expired mid May, and I can't wait to have my EAD in hands so I can start working again. I am applying to jobs right now and I am actually very close to getting a job offer for a great paying job (read: I am in the last phase of a long 1 month interviewing process). I read somewhere that sometimes you can use a job offer to expedite the EAD process, did you try making an info-pass appointment and bringing in your job offer? Or did your card arrived already?

This whole process is so exhausting and frustrating.

Good luck to us!

No card yet, my Card status was changed to Producing card on May 3. I have been told there is a backlog and it could take up to 60 days to get it.

So a bunch of us sit and wait

Hi!

No, I have yet to receive my EAD. If it doesn't come by this week, I am planning on calling them to see what's up.

I did read in other threads that a lot of people are still waiting for theirs to come in the mail as well.

So since technically I got approved for my EAD on May 10th, I was thinking of just going ahead and applying for jobs. Seems that a lot of people are doing that while they wait to get theirs in the mail.

What happened to the job offer? Did they rescind their offer or are they willing to hire you regardless while you wait, since technically, you got approved for the EAD.

Job offer is there and they told me they can wait another couple weeks but after that they will have to pull the offer as they need someone in the job ASAP for acouple big things happening.

I would be required to travel out of the US acouple times in the near future and with out the paper work I can't do that for them and Would miss some important deadlines.

So I am hopeful stuff shows up in the next 14 days or I am back to hunting for work.

Hey guys,

so quick update.

I checked the case status on my AOS (I-485), and it says

On June 1, 2016, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number **********. Your interview is on June 30, 2016. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

Does that mean I get my greencard before my EAD?

Doubt it.... It could take Months and months to get the interview. I had that status change back in April and was told it could take 6 to 9 months

Oh wow that's a different story, yes you may get the status change before the EAD then.... Congrats...

When did your status change in April? Mine was April 18th to ready to book and interview, but I haven't gotten an actual interview date as of yet. Plus I was told it could take up to almost a year for the interview... Depending on the state, and I am in Cali.

Oh geez, I guess it makes sense it takes longer in Cali?

The status for I-485 changed on April 18th, same as you!

What state are you located in?

Curious to see the time difference from state to state since we had the status change on the same day hahaha

Did they say your card was in production?

My status currently reads

"New Card Is Being Produced - On May 3rd, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxxx and will mail it to the address you gave us."

Congrats Slee000.! I'm in Washington D.C and still waiting for my physical EAD card.

What about you? Is your EAD in production as well?
