CENOMAR requirement

Hello,i got an email from ustraveldocs regarding the documents that i need to bring on my interview and one of it is CENOMAR or certificate of no marriage but my problem is i cant already ask or request for that document from PSA since ive been married last year.is cenomar still that necessary?thank you

P.S.ive tried to request a cenomar last january and all that they gave me is a paper saying that ive been married since last year based on their records.

If that is what they sent you and if the information is correct, then that is the paper you should bring to your interview.

My wife can not bring a CENOMAR because she is married, even though the instructions say she need to bring one.

I think what they mean is that IF YOU ARE UNMARRIED...THEN BRING A CENOMAR to your interview.

Hi, they also required a CENOMAR from me aside from my Certificate of Marriage. It's just legal proof that you didn't have previous marriages before. Also, didn't you get a CENOMAR before you got married? I believe it's one of the requirements to get a marriage license. If you had kept that, that should be fine.

Yes I used to have a copy of my CENOMAR but like what you've said its a requirement when you get married here that's why the copies I had before were passed to the municipal office and church.

Yes it's required. File for a CENOMAR and they will issue you a CEMAR. One is singleness and the other is for those who are married. Can't get through the interview without and musy not be more than six months old.

Thats the document you need. Its a CEMAR ad explained above. Again at time of interview the CEMAR cannont be older than 6 months.

You request a CENOMAR from PSA, they will issue the CEMAR (being you are married) that is what you bring to the interview.

Follow-up question on that... what if I still have my CENOMAR? Can I just present that along with my Marriage Certificate? To show I haven't been married before? Coz I only got married this March.. My interview is next Monday, it would take about a week if I try to get a CEMAR now..

They wont ask for your CENOMAR. When I had my interview they only ask for CEMAR.

If you'll get the CEMAR now from main office you'll get it this week. Got mine 3 days after my request.

Sounds like you are progressing well. When you go to your interview at the US embassy in Manila, be sure to have a printed copy of your DS-260 with you as well.
