On April 25th my waiver was approved, on May 5th I received the instruction letter from the consulate, which instructed to send them my passport and new medical exam. I sent the documents on May 9th and they received them on May 10th. Today in the CEAC webpage, it says the visa is ready, I just have to wait for the consulate to send me another instruction letter which will inform me for a new interview.

Will this letter be about a new interview or the US consulate in Juarez Mexico will just send me the immigrant package?

Thanks.

If you went from refused to ready without an interview, my guess would be you won't need another interview. I could be wrong here, but it seems that anyone who needed another interview didn't go from refused to ready on the CEAC prior to doing the interview. I would just monitor it until you either get another letter or get your package.

This journey isn't easy...we went over many hurdles along the way... We are together now, 4 years going strong... It's never impossible, it is a matter of having the strength and love to conquer all things along the way!

Hi liquirojas,

Did you hire any lawyer? How long did it take you to get waiver approval?

My immigrant visa application was refused at the interview for misrepresentation. The consular officer didn't explain any reasons for the denial but she asked about my past relationship with my ex fiancé , which was 10 years ago. We engaged in 2006. The relationship ended not long after the engagement. My ex fiancé already cancelled the K1 visa petition and I didn't go for an interview.
In 2011 & 2013, I applied for tourist visa and failed twice.

The past relationship was real and I didn't tell lie anything to them during the interview for tourist visa as well. I still have proof about my past relationship. Is there a high change for me to get I-601 waiver approved.

Thank you.

I did hire a lawyer, my waiver was received by the Nebraska office on August 23rd 2015 and was approved on April 25th 2016. I had to file a waiver for overstayed of my tourist visa.

Yea unfortunately the Nebraska Office is far behind, it should take about 4 months but this office is behind.

The lawyer I hired is Ms. Valdivia and here is her email,

Hi liquirojas:

My fiancee got instruction letter after his I-601 waiver approved then after two weeks i checked his status , it show that READY and also said your case is ready for interview ..........

So for my understanding , you got instruction letter and sent document back already , so after that status show Visa Ready , that means you going to get your visa soon .

Not yet we scheduled second interview on June .

So his instruction letter shows if the visa interview have been had passed one year that need second interview , and after waiver approved I check the status it is change from ready to refueled and 5/18 change to ready for interview but now we still do not know what kind of additional document require for second interview but it is ok he going to bring every thing just in case ,

You should context DHL office where is going to receive your visa , you will be ok .

I know how do u feel . More closer more nervous , my fiancée in Mexico could not sleep well and worried about interview , I know this is so hard but we almost finish this process . Our love one almost back home !

Today I checked the CEAC web and it changed to ISSUED! Now I just have to wait for the consulate to send it!

Did the consulate ask for his passport and new medical exam? or just to schedule an interview?

Congratulations ! So happy for you !

So instruction letter does not ask any document .because my fiancée 's k1 visa first interview was 4/23/15 and his I-601 waiver got approve 4/21/16 but we got instruction letter after May so his last visa interviw passed one year , and status show it ready for interviw , we scheduled second appointment for second interviw .

When was your first interviw ? Did your instruction letter ask your passport and medical exam ? Do you use this same phone # contect ciudad Juarez Mexico consulate ? (01152656344300) thank you !

my first interview was on July 10th 2015. the instruction letter asked me to send my passport and new medical exam because they are only good for 3 or 6 months. So I think your fiancee would need a new medical exam. Did they keep his passport in the first interview?

Yes is the same number, but I dial +5216563443003.

Good luck!
