Dear kind citizen of Visa Journey-

So this is my second post, I am rushing to get this as fast and simple as I can. Situation:

1. I-129F petition pack is COMPLETED, READY TO SEND, ALL DOCUMENTS are in line perfectly (check, forms, supporting datas / documents / photos, everything is ready).

2. Both of us (petitioner and beneficiary) lives in Bali, Indonesia. since July 2015. We've been together since 2011.

3. We're hoping to send the package today via DHL. As recommended by USCIS' Website.

BUT.....

To my surprise, DHL stated that they cannot ship any document that has any form of check / bank document due to its strict company regulation. If I insist they will accept the package but should the custom people at the airport found the check via x-ray, DHL will return my package but will not refund my shipment fee, it's USD120 but I hate to think of the waste and the stress and the hassle.

My only option now is to contact UPS and FEDEX in Bali, Indonesia and inquire about their policy regarding sending bank cheque.

QUESTIONS:

HAS ANYONE BEEN IN SIMILAR SITUATION??? Has anyone tried to send check from Bali, Indonesia?? What should I do?? :(

As you all know this whole preparing the application is rather exhausting and stressfull, so I maybe just overwhelmed by everything (finished the applications last night, printed this morning (3 times due to errorr) and now this DHL problem... what a day...

ANY SUGGESTION / ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

THANK YOU,

Teak.

Never heard of that; and how would an x-ray detect a check? But it may be a Baali and/ or country specific issue.

Other potential options: can you travel to a nearby country to mail it? Or mail it in a plain envelope to a friend in the USA who then mails it to the lock box?

Thank you penguin-ie, That was also my thought, but I was so tired and stressed and feel defeated that I wasn't even thinking of engaging the DHL officer in a long debate...

Has anyone send Application from Bali?? I'd really appreciate an advice.

Thank you.
