I had my interview on narch 18, 2014 for my fiancee visa, i was approved and put under administrative processing.

They didnt tell me nothing, any reson, i was just waiting.

I sent emails, letters and nothing.

My ex fiance then involved his sanator office, then after one year on AP i got a second interview, result? AP.

I didnt know why.

The i started to look for reason, and it was a mistake with my name at the police system, i sent all papers to embassy on august 2015, all papers to probe it was a mistake, no answer from embassy.

During this long AP, i could open my ayes and see the my ex wasnt the right person for me.

he started to benasty with me on the phone, i though it could be stress by the process, but everyday became worst, i tried to understand him, but he is the person who think that only he is right.

i could note that he likes drink alcohol, sometimes i hear him drunk on the phone.

The thing is that ended finish my relationship with him.

After 2 years waiting my visa and waiting that he changed .thanks God that the long AP helped me see who he is.

my case was sent back to uscis on april 11.

He sent a letter on march 29 to cancel the petition.

As i finished with him last year, on march 18 , 2016 i started a new relationship with a lovely and kind man.

God knew that my ex wasnt the right person for me.

I hope you spend longer getting to know each other before jumping into a K-1 this time. If there's one problem I see much too often here, its too many are in love with the idea of being in love and not the person. Rather they have filled in the blanks of what they don't know, with what they want that person to be, instead of who that person really is. Then when they're suddenly together and married, they discover how wrong that person was for them and then things get ugly.

Heck I knew my wife for 9 years before she came on a K-1, there was still a lot it turns out I didn't know about her once we're living together 24/7. And yes you got lucky. We could have been reading your post under the family changes and immigration topic area

Good luck on the new relationship. I hope he turns out to be all you hope he is.

Hello my friend. Its been almost one year since we spoke. I'm so happy for you. As for me, my DR husband was a fraud. As so as he received his green card, he moved out and moved in with another man. I was so hurt to realize that after all of the money, time, and getting him expedited due to my medical condition, he left. It's a long story, so I will inbox you the details. In short, he arrived in Dec 2014, we we married, got work permit, SSN, driver's license, the works.., I asked for an expedite on his green card and he received it in April 2015. After he received green card, he changed into a totally different person. He started traveling to different states visiting different women that had also met on the dating site. He would disappear without notice and show up days later. The first time he did it, I was so worried that I put a missing person report out on him....anyway HE is one of the reasons WHY the Honest and sincere immigrants from the DR have such a hard time getting approved.

So happy for you though. It appears that AP was a Godsend for you.

It is very sad when you love someone and that person doesnt love you. Yes my dear friend, I should have listened to your advice. You suspected something was amiss while he was still in the DR. I only wished I had heeded your warning. Love is blind. In hindsight, I was not very attentive to the advice of a dear friend. Thanks so much for all your support during the process. Just wished I would have listened to your instinct about that Man!!?

Thanks my friend.
