It is unbelieveable you waited all this time for the RFE ! I am sorry for this, indeed. I wish you a quick approval once you shove the ' evidence ' under their noses. You must have had the same smarmy slimeball who pilfered through our petition last year at the all - caring and compassionate CSC !

Hopefully, they will get you approved pronto !

Nagishkaw...Stop reminding me that God knows when I touch myself. Anyway - John (AKA YOHN) and Diana, you must have the bonehead adjudicator who does her work from home and was working on your case while watching Oprah. On a happy note you know for sure that they're working on your case so about a week or so after you send in the evidence AGAIN you will have your NOA2. I swear one day I'm going to apply for a job with a service center and show these people how its done. This is like the 5th time I've read of a couple having to send in the same evidence they sent in originally because it was overlooked. It pisses me off so I know it must piss you off even more.

####### do they want with the birth certificate of the beneficiary?

Weird.

Really...WHY WHY WHY!?? I sent in my guy's BC and his passport because I was feeling generous..not because I thought we had to. Where besides VJ are instructions on what to include in the 129F packet because I dont remember reading this anywhere on the 129F instructin sheet.

He knows everything, LOL . I sent in the beneficiarys translated B C because I wanted to avoid an RFE. Now that looks like it does not matter what you send, how much you send, etc., the fact is USCIS probably does not read through our petitons. When I got my letter of denial last year, it was stated in their letter my fiance was from ' Russia ' . How the heck did they come up with that? I had a boat load of evidence and docs that said he lives in Egypt, blatently he never went to Russia, visited , lived there, or otherwise. DUH!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

OH NO!! Well what did you do!???? Did you go head hunting at the Service Center?? I'd be beating on the front door to ask for the idiot that made that weird assumption!!

Nope, this time around I sent them a copy of their letter pointing out their error in bright yellow highlight marker. Trust me, I wanted to add to this collection :

Hey, Sorry to hear about your RFE. I'm sure things will all run smoothly after you've sent the extra evidence.

I never thought they would need my birth certificate as well. I think I'd better start scanning mine and email it to Mel bcos she'll be posting the I-129F on Monday. This birth certificate is 17' long (much longer than my scanner). Do you think they'll accept multiple copies as long as they can see the various stamps/intersections from the various copies? I'm making about 6 copies, slightly moving it through the scanner each time.

These immigrational officers are like politics too. You need to make them feel great. I think the more you put stress on them, the madder they get. I remember people working in customer service at Walmart, Lowes, Staples, OfficeMax, Best Buy, Circuit City are always stressed and they always want to screw up customers who gives them more stress. As a matter of fact, in college I worked for Best Buy and every time when a customers goes to customer service and complained the rep would rip the customer off even more. Not just our store that did it, all nearby stores that I know of operate similarly.

Don't get them mad, that's what I'm saying. I know you're mad about that outcome, but you need to be patient until the rep decides that you had enough of waiting and sincerely decides to take care of you nicely like they should.

The want MY birthcertificate in german and in english

Ok, so this is a classic case in point about how each adjudicator is different. When I sent in my I-129F, I did NOT include copies of my guys passport OR birth certificate. Why? Well, DUH, because it was not asked for! (I found VJ only after sending the I-129F, so only went by instructions on the USCIS site). I got an RFE only for “further evidence of meeting.” Besides re-sending in stuff I already sent, I also sent in some extra stuff like plane ticket stubs (didn’t send them before, because, again, they were not asked for and I didn’t have VJ to guide me).

Anyway, after you send in the evidence (all copies of course – DON’T send any original because they are NOT required and you might need them for the interview), you will probably get the NOA2 immediately, like we did. Good luck!
