DS-260 required for K-1 Visa

I just looked at the Japan Portal on here and it says a DS-260 is required. I thought the DS-160 online application replaced the need for a DS-260? If so, then can someone please review the Japan Portal on here and update to minimize the confusion?

No DS−260 is needed anymore. I think the portal is just out of date.　No worries!! All you need to fill out is DS-160 as you mentioned.　Best of luck to you!!

I'm not seeing it in the Japan portal. I did see that listed in the embassy info page.

The Tokyo consulate info page here on VJ mentions the DS-230, not DS-260. Those pages are filled in by members, so you can edit it yourself to reflect the actual requirements found on the Tokyo US consulate page you just linked.
