Wondering if someone can help me - I'm confused by these two items - and the difference between the two.

1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). Your fiance should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well). 2.

Send copies of the documentary proof that you submitted with the I-129F for your fiance to have on hand for their interview at the embassy. Your fiance should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well).

1. is the actual I-129f ... copies of everything that was mailed to the lockbox in the original I-129f filing.

2. NOA1/NOA2 letters from USCIS that prove the I-129f petition was received and approved.

Number 1 is nice but not necessary. I've never heard of any consulate asking for it. Its just good for your fiance to know what was in it.

Number 2 is more important I would say. I gave my fiance copies of these for his interview. I don't know he was asked for them.

Gotcha. Thanks!

Affidavit of support aswell, taxes from the last year, updated letter of intend to marry also (not required but good to have)

Thanks! I'm following the checklist created here on VJ. Was just confused by line items 1 and 2.
