If you log into the case status, you will see the receipts #s which you have put in there to track. Against each Receipt # you can see "Date of Update" that is supposed to change when they update anything on your case. Has this changed to some recent date ?

When you clock on the receipt # you can also see at the left the case history as well.

Hey guys, quick question. I want to make an infopass to get the stamp in my passport. Is it 1 month before the anniversary or 1 month before the extension letter expires to get the stamp?

Sometimes the status will change to "We have mailed your card" (not always) but they won't give you a tracking number. I've heard that if you call USCIS they may be able to provide you with the tracking number, but I don't know that from my own experience, so take that for what it's worth (if you have several hours/days to wait to talk to them, they might be able to help.

It's supposed to be "green card expiry date + 11 months". But it seems like some offices are willing to give a stamp at "date on the extension letter +11 months". If you need the stamp as proof for travel, a driver's licence, a job, or whatever, I'd take the chance on the earlier date, and give them a good explanation of your reasoning. According to USCIS, the extension letter extends your proof of residence for 1 yr after your green card expires, so unless someone is refusing to accept that, you might as well wait until the later date.

Yeah... No May VSC approvals as yet... there have been a couple of VSC filers from April that have been approved, but VSC is still a few months behind CSC.

I received today a letter to come for biometrics appointment on the 28th. I've never been more confused. I did the bio appt 10 months ago. Will call them in the morning. Hopefully that doesn't mean that I have to wait another year, that would only add up to my stress.
