So looks like the plan is to simply apply for CR-1 immediately and hope that it gets done before the due date. I guess I'll spin up a different post on asking how to get help on preparing the I-130 packet

Please keep all your posts to this thread. There are plenty of guides on how to fill out and submit the I-130.
