Paying $400 for a hair-dryer is ridiculous.

However, dryers should be stronger than 1875 watts (the seeming maximum).

Mrs. T-B. had a Clairol dryer, the high speed of which was weaker than the low speed of a Vidal Sassoon dryer.

I'm reminded of those public-bathroom World hand-dryers, with 3 published steps: Push button; rub hands gently under warm air; stops automatically. They left off Step 4: "Wipe hands on pants."

In comparison, those XLerator hand-dryers have hurricane-force winds that actually dry one's hands during one's natural lifetime.

I have pretty thick naturally wavy/curly hair, a regular hair dryer can't do anything with my hair unless it is left to dry naturally to a semi damp state for an hour or two. I have never had my arm be tired from holding a hair dryer, I think my arms can take continuing to hold my good ol' $25 Vidal.

Those hand dryers are a joke seriously. Every time I go to the big fancy movie theater I not only get a trickle of cold water and lack of soap but the dryer does nothing to dry your hands and you end up using your pants anyway. This is why I just use hand sanitizer everywhere...
