my husband and i are we married for 9 year now... and because my good job in mexico we never were doing nothing about immigration, now my husband has to relocate of work and is far from the border where we live and we want to be together, also i have 3 kids under 17 that he is the only father they know... my question is.... helps to me that i have turist visas for more then 10 years? the fact to have 9 years married could be good or bad? and really need to bring documents pic of our relationship?????? ( a lot of pictures) . thank you!!!!

1) I don't see why having a long relationship could be construed as bad for immigration. In fact, they want evidence that it's legitimate; having proof that it is long-standing is strong...

2) You won't need to bring 10 years of photos, but you'll want stuff showing the validity of your marriage.

I doubt you will have an issue and from what I have read they are not that hot on such matters in Mexico compared to some others.

But you do have a long wait, you need to file before he moves, normal processing is otherwise about a year. Not sure how long DCF Mexico is.

B Visa will allow you to visit in the meantime.

You should have no trouble to get the spousal visa but, as mentioned above, it takes about a year to process.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
