Hi, appreciate if anybody can advise on my case.

(IR-1: Date of Marriage: April 2012)

I have interview scheduled on May 3, 2016 in Abu Dhabi. Prior to receiving the Interview Letter, I received a checklist stating that i should bring "Additional W-2 2014". We have submitted a copy of the W-2 2014 with the AOS (filed in 2015) so i assumed they want me to bring the original - so i would do that. My questions are the following:

  1. Since my interview date is May 3, 2016, am i required to bring an updated IRS Tax Returns for 2015? My husband did not file it yet, and W-2 2015 is not available due to change of work. We are not relying on W-2 alone to support me, my husband has few properties more than the poverty guideline requirement. I hope the AOS we submitted is enough, any thoughts?
  2. In my DS 260, i noted "no children", during that time i was few months pregnant. Now my son is 8 months old, do i need an updated DS-260 to reflect changes?

Thanks a lot!

They may ask for the 2015 return. In which case, if you pass the interview otherwise, they will hold the visa until they get the tax form.sent to them. I can see where the new child complicates things since I am sure the i864 was filled out without taking in consideration for the child as a dependent.

Hi,

I also received a checklist for W-2 form (2015) on April 27th, 2016. I am a bit confused in either to send supporting documents to NVC or take them to the interview. The status of my case has not changed yet. I would like to know when did you receive 'case complete' after checklist.

Hi MAK, on Feb 25, 2016 i received a notice that my case is completed and that they are scheduling the interview. On Mar 15, i received a checklist for W2 2014 it says i should bring it to the interview. Then on Mar 30, i received P4 my interview notice scheduled May 3.

For your case they should mention if W2 2015 to bring to the interview or send to NVC.
