Hi all,

We changed our address and I filled up AR-11 and my wife filled up I-865, we sent them to the USCIS using USPS 5 weeks ago.Until now we didn't receive any confirmation letter from USCIS. Is that normal to not receive confirmation letter.

Thank you,

Hi all,

Thank you,

When we changed our address, we both received the confirmations. My husband got one, via regular mail (I-865) and I had both, online confirmation (AR-11) and a regular mail as well. It took about two weeks or so for USCIS to mail our confirmations. So, yes, I believe you should've already received yours.

Did you print your AR-11 online conformation? If so, I would call USCIS Customer service to figure out what's going on...

Also, I would suggest to notify the Post Office of your previous address.

We have notified the USCIS, and their system has been updated, but despite all of this 3 months later my EAD and NPIW letter were sent to our previous address. All documents have finally found me only because we have notified the local Post Office.

And if it's possible, I would keep in touch with people on your previous address.

They didn't send me any letter either but I received two confirmation emails. First email came after filing ar-11 (very short email) and the second one came two days later (longer email that also showed my NOA receipt number for ROC petition) and said they updated my information on file. Eventually both the approval letter and new GC came to my new address.

Have you recorded the change of address receipt number that starts with COA.... ?

Hi Ksenia and charmander,

Thank you so much for your respond!

I couldn't change my address online because of an error showed anytime I want to change it so I did print the AR-11 form and I sent it to the USCIS by USPS. My old address is my mother in law address. I moved from my old address last year in January 2015 and I told the USPS about that so when USCIS sent me my biometric letter in March of 2016 the USPS returned to the USCIS because I think USPS give you just one year to forward you mails to your new address then after that they will return the mails back to the sender. After USPS returned my biometric to the USCIS then USCIS put my new address on the biometric letter and they asked me to fill the AR-11 from and send it to them. I am just worry that the USPS will return my mail back to USCIS again.

I just tried to change my address online and now went through with no problem and now I have the # that starts with COA

I changed my address 3weeks ago. Called in USCIS number and they changed it for me, but told me that I should mail the AR-11 form so we did. But never received any confirmation letter too. What I have is only a reference number from the phone call to change my address.

Journey to citizenship now. Finally the last one!
