Hi everyone,

I would like to ask who else got 221g after their interview last March and this April? Follow my format below for easier understanding.

Interview Date: April 05

Reason for 221G: AKA missing in NBI clearance because of wrong spelling in birth certificate even if the corrections are there.
Updates:

April 05 - Got new NBI clearance with AKA and sent to USEM via 2go
April 06 - USEM received NBI clearance
April 07 - CEAC status touched but still AP
April 14 - Emailed USEM asking for update
April 15 - USEM replied and acknowledge receipt of NBI clearance on Apr. 07
- CEAC status touched but still AP
April 19 - Emailed USEM asking for update
April 20 - USEM replied case still under review, no further documents needed.

Just be patience for sure the embassy is still reviewing it. My wife sent her singapore police cert. And my I-864A last march 29

April 1, case updated but still in AP

April 6 and April 13, I called the embassy in manila to ask for any update for the case of my wife by still on AP

April 18, in the morning philippine time my wife checked the status if her case is still on AP and yes it was.

April 18, in the afternoon Philippine. Time she checked it again and she was shocked and it changed to ISSUED..

You can call as many times as you want but the wait can be two weeks to six months after replying to a 221g. Yes it can happen that your wait can be that long. Frankly I'd stop calling, which only ties up the phone line up for others who may have more pressing issues. Keep checking CEAC for updates. Patience. Your almost there. ?

Received 221(g) requesting co-sponsor (I864) at the end of the interview on April 19th (to be submitted to DHL along the requested document when ready). The documents were submitted on April 23, delivered on 25th and confirmed received by the consulate on 28th with current status " Under review" as per DOS. CEAC status stuck on ready since the documents were received by the consulate from NVC (Expeditious processing). I called today and it is still under review. What is the difference between "Under review " and " Administrative processing" as per immigrant visa processing?
