A Facebook flashback brought me back to someone I had met through this site 6 years ago, and decided to stop by to see if anyone familiar is still around!?

Hey. I pop in occasionally too. My hubby and I have been through so much together...But still going strong. The adjustments were a journey too.

It seems like after the election things eased up for approvals compared to when we were all on here. And a lot of the REAL elders aren't on to "educate" the newbies anymore. I am sorry but they were just mean at it. Kinda counter productive for a great forum to aide people. OH well.

I miss Morocco. My hubby has been back and will travel again this June....Maybe next trip I will go also.

You know looking back there were so many different stories on here...seems quieter now.

It does seem wicked quiet! I'm glad you guys are doing well. Adjustment does suck, but you get through it. My husband just spent two months in Morocco. (He came back a month ago.) Was his first time back since he came here. We were back to an "online" relationship. ? It sucked, but so glad he got to see family again. I remember the feistiness that was on here. I always wondered if going through Morocco now is a bad as it used to be. Oh well. Things were meant to happen the way it did, I'm grateful for that.

Was first here in 2008 I believe. Crashed and burned then.

Glad to see you all-- been here since 2010 :) Y just got citizenship this month, and I am more in love with him than ever. Love our life together... I finished my master's program, may have room to move in my current job but am open to moving somewhere else too. After a few false starts with school, Y is close to an Associate's in IT and applying for internships. No kids (we don't want 'em). Y is big into US politics, which is exciting. I'm thinking about PhD programs. We've got a cute townhouse across from a Trader Joes and walking trails, an adorable beagle pup. His parents just came to visit for 6 weeks and it was a really great visit.

Life is good here--- hope it is for you all as well!
