I'm getting together everything me and my fiancee needs to get her here to the US. The one thing I am unsure of is my current employment. I make 21k a year but am working through a temp-to-hire company. Me getting hired onto (at Amazon) might happen mid way during the application since I already put a request for full conversion.

With that said, I saw people mentioning I could have a co-sponsor if my income alone isn't enough. Could I get a link to that forum? And do I send it with the k-1 packet in the beginning with everything else?

hi

nope, the i134 affidavit of support and supporting documents aren't needed until the interview

so you don't send any financials initially

Thats great to know, thank you. One less stress in all this!

OP: You don't send any financial information with your K1 package.

The financial guidelines are here:

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf 100% for I-34, and later on for adjustment of status 125%. So for two, your current salary seems like it would be enough.

The fiancé will need to bring the I-134 filled out by you and supporting evidence, such as a tax transcript or an employer letter.

However: if you decide to use a co-sponsor (which London will absolutely accept) they will only require the documents from the co-sponsor and not from you.

London is quite easy and will even allow self-sponsorship.

Remember that once the fiancé is in the US and you marry, there is also the adjustment of status process, which will require more in-depth financial information and forms.

Once you file the K1 you'll have at least 2 to 3 months before you need financial info...
