K1 visa received! the packet has a small tear

I hope someone could help me with this. I received my k1 visa today from 2Go express but them there's a tear on the triangular cut on the left side about 1.5 inches.. the yellow envelope is intact I did not open it.. would it be fine ?

I've seen this posted on here before. It seems sometimes the packets do have a tear in the corner of them exactly as you described. It should be fine. Just don't open it any further and make sure it doesn't tear open to make an even larger hole in the packet.

That is normal.

The brown envelop as a triangular cut on one corner, you can actually take a peek of what are inside. It contains the I-129 packet we submitted to USCIS, documents submitted to the US Embassy Manila among other docs that I cannot really see what. They returned to me Photos, communication through Viber, calls thru viber and skype logs and fb screen grabs that were attached to the I-129F packet.

Thanks for the response. I was just really freaking out with the small tear from the triangular cut on the left side. I called the USEM twice and said that it's normal as long as I won't be opening the yellow envelope. I've read a lot of posts here too with the same situation and they don't have any problem at the POE. I hope and pray that there won't be any problem with it for me.

there will be no problem, that is how they issue the envelops with the docs. I was not worried a bit since I have read that here and was expecting it. Actually posted some photos in my blog.

There is always a corner cut on the envelope large enough for a corner of the papers exposed. No worries.

Ah for a big tear I suggest contacting the embassy and have them repackage your documents.

If they are saying it will be fine, then slip it back in the plastic bag it was shipped in, put that carefully inside your carry-on bag and have a safe flight.
