Too nervous to call.....if one of my other JA filers call and I know she has a date then I would feel more confident. I am too nervous

Okay called NVC just now to inquire about the error I made with my birth city, birth state and country. Lord I put I was born in Houston Texas, Nigeria. LOL And its Georgetown South Carolina, USA heh

7 days after case complete. Maybe today or tomorrow. Really doesn't matter if you got confirmation via phone. That's what matters..

I called NVC just now (because I'm impatient this morning, I guess) to see if Lagos embassy had begun scheduling yet. Nothing so far, but she did say that a couple other countries have begun. :-)

Are interview emails generated the instant the interview is scheduled, or do they delay sending them out? Just trying to see if I should bother calling again at the end of the day...

Interview letters have been coming out 2 to 3 days after Interview is assigned. Nigeria has not started yet but they should probably tomorrow or Wednesday Always call.

4/7/2020: Card being produced
4/8/2020: Approved
4/10/2020: Card mailed
4/15/2020: 10 year green card received

Yess!!!! We made it.

Just got off the phone after 30mins wait..... We got Interview scheduled 4th May. 1:30pm

So excited!!!!

Meanwhile we I completed my Medicals already last week 22nd March.

July 20th 2015 - filled I-130 routed to California Service Center

July 28th 2015 - received NOA1 (hard copy)

Sep 22nd 2015 - received email of RFE

Nov 05th 2015 - received NOA2 approval

Nov 16th 2015 - received at NVC

Dec 08th 2015 - received case # and IIN #

Dec 09th 2015 - paid AOS bill

Jan 04th 2016 - sent AOS & IV documents

Jan 06th 2016 - paid IV bill

Jan 08th 2016 - completed DS-260

Jan 06th 2016 - received scan date

Feb 17th 2016 - received 2nd scan date

Mar 18th 2016 - case complete

Mar 28th 2016 - Interview Date Scheduled "May 10th"

April 5th 2016 - Medical examination

May 10th 2016 - interview at consulate

Hi everyone,

I am happy to see that they have started scheduling for some countries today especially for the people in Jaimaica who have been waiting for so long. Stay positive everyone.

Quick update

My CEAC status says READY now. My documents have reached the US embassy in Haiti today. I called them today to try to get an earlier date. The rep I should get an email with their decision.

Thank you so much Dwheels76. I can't tell you enough just how amazing you are. It is such a blessing to have found VJ and come across you as well as many others on here. You have all helped so much. If I'm this excited about the interview date then just imagine if the interview goes smoothly and I get the approval.
