I'm not sure if I'm on the right thread. My husband is going through the consulate processing in Ankara, Turkey. I noticed that almost all countries are pretty expedient except Turkey, which is averaging around 90-100 days from CC to interview date. Right now we are waiting for our interview date, our CC was Jan. 21. At this point I have lost so much hope about getting a timely interview. My husband's new job in New York is asking us every week what the status is and we have to keep holding them off. Is there anything we can do at this point? Get a lawyer, change our application to an adjustment of status or go through a different consulate? We were told that option 1 delays the process, option 2 isn't a real option bc we have to start again and option 3 is impossible bc my husband is Turkish.

Things take the time it does.

When you have a CC, then it´s up to the Embassy to give out date.

In that space of time, there is nothing to do.

NVC can´t expedite and Embassy don´t know about you yet.

It´s cool that he got a job, but alone on the premise in don´t think they can or will expedite you.

To get a lawyer now, what will that do ? Other then lose money..

I am sending a new I-864 for my husband to bring to the interview (April 5- CR-1 New Delhi, India), there isn't another fee for that, is there?

First one was sent in almost a year ago and I've received several raises since then (yay!) and have the 2015 tax return info and W-2 going with it and more recent paystubs.

hey all congrats to all for getting a case complete & interview date,i call the NVC last week but no luck for a interview date and today I got my interview letter/P4 my interview date is 22nd of April at 8:30 am

Who's PD are you asking? You know PD only matters if you aren't a citizen. You are in a different category than most here and depending on your embassy # of slots are totally different.

My ceac status now showing Ready.. Does it mean that my case file has reached embassy or is it still with nvc because the current processing site still shows nvc..

No READY means its at the Embassy see the Case Status date.All the different status is in the 1st post also.
